Ubiquinol contributes to the mitochondrial health of the reproductive system in men and women. - Supports early embryonal development. As we age, the ovarian reserve, ovocyte quality and competence for fertilisation decreases. Ubiquinol, when supplemented, has shown positive effects on fertility outcomes. This supplementation helps improve ATP generation in egg cells, restores mitochondrial gene expression, promotes mitochondrial biogenesis, and protects against oxidative damage.
